Weekend Warriors
Our Weekend Warriors program is an opportunity for individuals to come together as a community to celebrate living life to the fullest. Most events and outings are FREE, unless otherwise noted.
We stand by the principle that balance in mind, body and spirit is the cornerstone to living a healthy life. Our Weekend Warrior club will present an opportunity for you to take your commitment to wellness one step further: once a month we will be sponsoring outdoor excursions to get you out of the gym and into the outdoors. This will be a chance for you to gain knowledge and experience in activities that you may or may not have experience in. Plus you get to hang out with really cool people!
All activities will be designed to accommodate all fitness levels and because we will repeat the activities, you will have an opportunity to push yourselves and improve your abilities. The staff at Experience Momentum will put these adventures together for and provide you with all of the necessary information concerning time, place, activity, gear requirements etc.

Group Track (Run) Workouts - May 2-27
For: Multisport Group Training
We will do this Group Track (run) at College Place Middle School in Lynnwood at 7501 208th St Sw, Lynnwood, WA 98036. The school is behind the Lynnwood Municipal Golf Course by Edmonds Community College. We will be meeting at the track at 5:45 for a dynamic warm up and then move right into a pre-designed workout. The workouts, for novice, intermediate or advanced runners (walkers too) will be posted the night before the workout.
We will be running these workouts weekly on Wednesdays, from April 25 to June 27 (as a trial), to help build a base layer of fitness, skill development and knowledge, practice good running form and enjoy one another's company as a team.
Survivor Mud Run - June 2

Survivor Mud Run was created to test your ability to run, climb, jump, crawl, & muscle your way through the most extreme 5k Mud Run Created! As a Survivor you will have to conquer whatever obstacles get in your way and test your all around toughness, strength, stamina, fitness, and mental determination. Upon your victory you will have earned your place in the Survivor world. Then you can sit back and celebrate!

Pedal Pushing - June 9
For: Weekend Warriors
Get out of the city and enjoy some of Puget Sound's finest rural riding on the largest century in Washington State! Flying Wheels Summer Century presented by Raleigh is a celebration of summer cycling with a Finish Line Festival featuring food, beverages and more. Each route takes you through rural scenery and great rest stops. Those that want hills should ride the 45-, 65- and 100-mile loops. Riders not interested in hill challenges can opt for the 25-mile loop, which has only a few.
Chelanman Multisport Weekend 2012 - July 21-22

Fun for Everyone!
This event has something for every athletic ability! The weekend includes a first timer triathlon, a sprint, Olympic, and a half-Iron distance triathlon (relay option available for triathlons), a 10k and half marathon run, a youth triathlon (ages 11-15) and a splash and dash for the kids. Experience Momentum has been participating in this multisport weekend for the past three years and it has become one of our favorite activities.
Whidbey Island Triathlon - August 4
For: Multisport
(Ages 16 – 100 and counting) This is a great first triathlon and a fun event for veteran triathletes. This very scenic course starts with a half mile swim in beautiful Goss Lake. Leaving the lake on your bike, you’ll begin the 19.5 mile ride through paved county roads. The bike course is hilly with views of Saratoga Passage and the North Cascades. Finish with a 3.8 mile run through forest trails at Community Park and on county roads. Chip timing and friendly volunteers. This event has limited space and has filled up with a long wait list the past 3 years, so register early!

Mary Meyer Life Fitness Tri a Tri - September 8
For:
Cottage Lake Tri hosts both an adult and kids event with just enough participants but not too many. Get into the rhythm of triathlons with a short distance, user-friendly race. Plenty of support and a well marked course this is a first timers dream.
